Introduction to Creation
As the water left so did the people. They chased after it, fought for what remained yet, the sea continued to elude them until all that remained were salted homes.

When the water was gone the people waited. The Earth did not. It started with a sprout, a plant, a bush, a tree. Then everything belonged to the Earth once more.

The people changed, the desire to find the sea died with the last person to ever see it. All the while a forest grew, it expanded as far as the eye could see. A canopy stretched and rippled over the uneven landscape. Then came the creatures, spawned from deep within. Then came the tales of warning.

These stories were shared among family, among friends. To keep them safe, to keep them whole. The stories grew with the trees; stories of the sea, of the trees, of the people and things that lurk in the perpetual dark of the deep.
